JISUN KANG
Violin (Strings)
Jisun Kang is recognized internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician. Jisun is the associate music director of Love Violin USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing and teaching underprivileged children to learn a musical instrument.
JANE LEE
Cello
Born in South Korea, cellist and an entrepreneur, Jane Lee immigrated to the US at the age of ten and began studying cello in New York. From the start of her studies, Ms. Lee won numerous competitions and positions such as the New York Music Competition of YWCA, two- time winner of the Young Artist Chamber Music Competition of the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society and Principal Cello Position of New York Laureate Orchestra. In 2011, she was admitted to the Juilliard School as a student of Timothy Eddy with a merit scholarship in which she received her bachelor degree in music from. She graduated from Manhattan School of Music for a master’s degree and also received her Professional Performance certificate from USC Thornton School of Music. Over the course of her studies, she has worked with legendary cellists such as Philippe Muller, Ralph Kirshbaum, Frans Helmerson, Andrew Shulman, Amit Peled, Paul Katz and Peter Wiley.
TOM JENNINGS
Piano
Hailed by the Boston Globe as a “highly attuned pianist,” Tom Jennings has worked with artists in a wide array of genres. He has performed as concerto soloist with orchestras, accompanied opera luminaries Ben Heppner and Jerome Hines, cabaret stars Steve Ross and Leslie Uggams, chamber music with New York’s top instrumentalists, and jazz at venues throughout the US and abroad. His latest album, Closing Prayers (Sunday Jazz, Vol. 4) was released in September of 2022. In addition to four other solo releases, Tom has appeared on numerous artist recordings, including those by Lou Marini, DeShannon Higa, Terry Silverlight, Gary Haase, Steve Sacks, Emily Drennan and many others. Tom holds the Doctor of Musical Arts in piano from Manhattan School of Music. He is married to soprano Michelle Jennings and has two grown children.
