ABOUT US

Angelos Mission Ensemble (AME) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004, and is an exciting Christian Youth chamber music organization led by world-renowned musicians dedicated to giving back to the community and raising leaders among the youth. AME is not only taught by award-winning artists, but it is also where students are challenged to understand how they themselves can serve others and their communities at large by learning to care and cooperate with one another.

The heart and soul of the program is centered around the 2 week Summer Camp, where students meet for intensive coaching, rehearsals, seminars and have many opportunities to perform and share their talents with the community. Some of the notable venues include playing for the homeless right on the streets of New York City (pictured above), playing in hospitals, and staging an Annual Benefit concert, just to new a few. AME is a program that gives the youth a platform to rise to the occasion and truly apply their faith in love.

Cellist Soo Bae and her father and mother Seung Soon and Min Ja Bae founded AME in 2004 as the fulfillment of a vision they had of establishing a community dedicated for the training and cultivation of the next generation of Christian musical leaders. This vision comprised of two equal parts, one raising the student’s Spiritual awareness, and the other raising the student’s Musical awareness. Now, more than 19 years later, AME continues to expand its scope of ministry, and it now hosts an annual benefit concert, and runs monthly get-togethers (AMEetings) to continue to challenge the youth into a deeper understanding of God and how they can apply their faith in their day to day lives.
